Defense of theses in foreign languages is carried out at the BSU Council in accordance with the Regulations of examination of theses in foreign languages, approved by the Order of the Head of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2012 № 75. The text of the Regulations can be found on the website of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus.
Before initiating the defense procedure, one should consult the Secretary of the Theses Defense Board in which he or she is going to defend the thesis.
Since 2013, the BSU has started training on 33 specialties in English. The information on this matter is available at the website of the Department of PG and Doctorate Courses of the Qualified Scientific Personnel Training Directorate of the GDS.
