The Belarusian-Chinese Innovation Center was established in 2010. In June 2010, in the framework of the 3rd International Exhibition of Scientific and Technological Achievements, the official opening of the Chinese branch of the Center has held in Harbin (the People’s Republic of China). A month later (July 20) the Belarusian branch of the Center was opened at the Belarusian State University. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Sergey Ablameyko (BSU Rector) and Prof. Sun Yao (Vice-governor of Heilongjiang province).
The purpose of creation of the Belarusian-Chinese Innovation Center was to facilitate the expansion of business and scientific contacts of structural units of the BSU with scientific and educational institutions and enterprises of the People’s Republic of Chine, as well as to coordinate effectively the implementation of joint scientific and technological projects.
